Terms of Service

The service

MyNuQuote (mynuquote.com) is software for writing estimates, sending a unique pay link, and collecting a payment. You can create and view estimates for free. First 3 estimates with pay links free, then $19/mo or $180/yr. A connected Stripe account is still required before a customer can pay by card on a pay link.

We are not a bank, a payment processor, or a party to the job you quote. We do not do the work described on an estimate.

Accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to form a contract in the United States. Use a real email you control. You are responsible for your password, your shop’s users, and what you put on estimates and pay links.

Keep the account accurate. If we reasonably believe an account is used for fraud, abuse, or illegal activity, we may suspend or close it.

Subscription, billing, and cancel

After those free pay links, live payment collection is $19/mo. Pay yearly and save over 20% ($180/yr). That fee is charged by MyNuQuote on our Stripe account. We are the merchant of record for the subscription only.

Billing is recurring until you cancel. Cancel in the Stripe customer portal (from the dashboard when billing is connected) or by emailing support@mynuquote.com. Canceling stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund the current period unless Stripe or we agree to a refund. Payments your customers already made are not a MyNuQuote subscription refund.

Payments and how money moves

Card payments on the public estimate go through Stripe Checkout on your connected Stripe account (Stripe Connect). You charge the customer. You are the merchant of record for that payment. You handle refunds, chargebacks, disputes, and tax on the job. Refund language on the public estimate is yours — not advice from us.

MyNuQuote takes 0% of customer payments in this product. Stripe’s ordinary processing fees still apply on the connected account. We do not hold customer payment funds.

Customer payments are Stripe-first. You may also give a customer other instructions (Venmo, cash, check). Those payments are between you and the customer. MyNuQuote does not process them, and we do not use Braintree or another card processor. You can mark an estimate paid in the dashboard when you collect Venmo, cash, or another payment outside Stripe.

Acceptable use

Do not use MyNuQuote to:

• Break the law, commit fraud, or launder money
• Impersonate another business or collect payments for work you will not perform
• Probe, scrape, or disrupt the service or other users
• Upload malware or put secrets (passwords, full card numbers) in estimate notes
• Sell or take payment for prohibited goods or services
• Pose as a bank, payment app, government agency, or MyNuQuote support in a business name or on a pay link

Your business must be allowed under Stripe’s Restricted Businesses list and must follow it, whether your customers pay by card or another way you list on a pay link. We may suspend a pay link or account that breaks these rules.

Your customers’ information

Names, emails, job notes, and prices you enter are your business records. Anyone with a pay link can see that estimate. Do not put information in a public link that should stay private. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to store your customers’ details.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is”. We do not promise uninterrupted uptime, that an estimate will be accepted, or that a payment will collect. Stripe, email, and hosting can fail.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent New Hampshire law allows, MyNuQuote and its operator are not liable for lost jobs, lost profits, chargebacks, or indirect damages. Our total liability for a claim about the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit liability that the law says we cannot limit.

Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we shut the product down. After termination, we may delete or anonymize account data on the schedule in the Privacy Policy, except where we must keep records.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire, and you agree to their jurisdiction.
