Privacy Policy

Who this covers

This policy describes how MyNuQuote (mynuquote.com) handles personal information when you create an account, write estimates, or open a public estimate link. It covers a US-focused service.

What we collect

• Account. Email, password (stored by Supabase Auth, not as plain text we can read), optional business name, and the time you agreed to the Terms and this policy if you signed up through our form.
• Estimates. Job title and description, customer name, email, and phone you enter, line items or lump totals, notes, refund policy, dates, and the public estimate token.
• Payments. Stripe identifiers for your subscription and connected account, checkout session and payment-intent ids, and amounts. Stripe processes cards. MyNuQuote never sees or stores full card numbers.
• Technical. Basic logs from our host (Netlify) such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps when you hit the site or functions.

Customers who only open a public estimate link and pay on Stripe share what you put on the estimate plus whatever Stripe collects to run Checkout. We do not get their full card number.

How we use it

• Run the product: accounts, estimates, pay links, payments, and subscription status
• Email login or confirmation links when Auth is configured
• Prevent fraud and keep the service up
• Answer support mail you send us

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent your customer list.

Who we share with

• Stripe. Subscription billing on our platform account; Connect onboarding and payment Checkout on your connected account.
• Supabase. Auth and the Postgres database that stores profiles and estimates.
• Netlify. Hosting for the website and serverless functions.
• Resend. Sends pay link and account emails. It receives the recipient address, the subject, and the message body.
• Cloudflare Turnstile. On signup and login only, to check that a person is creating or opening the account. It is not loaded on a public pay link.
• Google Fonts. The site loads Libre Baskerville and Libre Franklin from Google. A visitor’s IP address may be sent to Google when those font files are requested.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the service or other people, or if the product is sold or transferred (the buyer must keep treating it as personal information).

Retention

We keep account and estimate records while the account is open and for a reasonable period after, so you can see job history and we can handle disputes or legal holds. You can ask us to delete an account at support@mynuquote.com. We may retain limited records when the law or Stripe requires it (for example, billing history). Deleting a sent or paid estimate removes it from your list. We keep that record for payment history, refunds, and disputes, and the pay link may still open unless you void it.

Security

We use HTTPS, host on Netlify, store data in Supabase with row-level security for owner data, and send card traffic to Stripe. No method is perfect. Do not put secrets in estimate notes. Tell us at support@mynuquote.com if you think an account was compromised.

Cookies and local storage

We keep the signed-in session in local storage (Supabase Auth) and use ordinary hosting cookies. We do not run a third-party advertising pixel on this product.

Children

MyNuQuote is for adults running a business. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think we have, email support@mynuquote.com and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can update shop details in the app, cancel your subscription through Stripe, and ask us for a copy or deletion of account data we hold. If you are a US resident and a state law gives you extra rights (access, correction, deletion, or to appeal a denial), email support@mynuquote.com and we will handle the request in good faith. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top and, when practical, note it in the product or by email. Keep using the service after an update means you accept the revised policy, except where the law says we need a new consent.
